Use Table to turn template rows into Generated Visuals and manage production data in a grid.
Open Table
Finish at least one template setup and resolve its blockers.
Click Open Table, or switch from Canvas to Table.
If Table is unavailable, return to template setup and resolve the reported issues.
Work with templates and rows
Each template appears as a separate sheet. Select a sheet tab to work with its columns and production rows.
Click Add row to create a Generated Visual from the template.
Use Filter rows to narrow the grid.
Right-click a row to duplicate or delete it.
Deleting rows can be undone.
New rows and imported rows are appended. Importing does not update or reconcile existing production rows.
Edit cells
Double-click a cell, or press Enter or F2, to edit it.
Press Enter to save and move down, Shift+Enter to move up, or Tab to move across.
Press Esc to cancel editing.
You can also copy, cut, paste, clear cells, and use Cmd/Ctrl+D to fill down.
Edit images and Image Lists
Double-click an Image cell to choose an asset.
Drop a workspace asset or local image file onto an Image cell.
Press Space to preview the selected image cell.
For an Image List, enter file names separated by commas, for example
front.png, side.png.
Download Excel
Click Download Excel.
Choose Download active sheet for the current template or Download all sheets for every ready template.
Use the reference panel in each data sheet to match columns to the template.
Upload Excel
Click Upload Excel and choose an .xlsx file. CSV and TSV files are not supported.
Review matched templates, row and output counts, skipped sheets, missing images, warnings, and blockers.
Confirm the import when the review is correct.
A workbook can contain up to 24 data sheets, 100 columns per sheet, 10,000 characters per cell, and 1,000,000 text characters in total.
Return to the canvas
Click Back to Canvas to inspect or edit the Generated Visuals directly.
Troubleshooting
If a workbook is rejected, confirm that it is an .xlsx file and that its headers match the template columns.
If a sheet is skipped, rename it to match the target template or download a fresh workbook.
If an image is missing, use its exact Content Shelf file name or choose the asset directly in Table.
