Muse can inspect a Design, answer design questions, propose a plan, and apply approved scoped edits.
Open Muse
Switch to Canvas mode.
Click Muse Design Agent.
Select a Visual or layers before sending a request when you want narrower context.
Describe the outcome you want.
The scope chip shows the active Visual and selected-layer count that Muse can use as automatic canvas context.
What Muse can do
Review the current canvas and answer design questions.
Suggest ways to improve visual hierarchy, layout, or brand fit.
Propose scoped edits for the current Design.
Create resized Visual variants while protecting the source Visual.
Help set up a Design for production when that capability is enabled.
Planning is read-only
A free-form request starts in a read-only planning phase. Muse may answer directly, ask questions, or propose a plan. The canvas does not change until you approve an implementation plan.
Write a useful request
Include the target, intended result, and the constraints that must stay true.
“Make the selected headline stronger without moving the product image.”
“Review this Visual for spacing problems and explain the top three issues.”
“Create an Instagram Story version and keep the current copy.”
Use quick actions
The starting panel can offer design-review prompts, common resize targets, and Batch resize. Available actions depend on the Workspace and enabled capabilities.
Review before approval
Check the target, scope, and promised changes. Approve only when the plan is correct. If it is too broad, ask Muse to revise it or send a narrower request.
Close or stage a request
Press Esc to close Muse.
Press Cmd/Ctrl+K, type a request, and press Tab to stage that text in Muse. Staging does not send it automatically.
