Use the command palette and shortcut sheet to work faster in Canvas and Table modes.
Open the two command surfaces
Press Cmd/Ctrl+K to open the command palette and search editor actions.
Press Cmd/Ctrl+/, or choose Help → Keyboard shortcuts, to open the complete shortcut sheet.
Essential editing shortcuts
Cmd/Ctrl+Z: Undo
Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Z or Cmd/Ctrl+Y: Redo
Cmd/Ctrl+D: Duplicate selected layers, or selected Visuals when no layer is selected
Delete/Backspace: Delete the current layer or Visual selection
Cmd/Ctrl+C, X, V: Copy, cut, and paste
Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+V: Paste in place
Cmd/Ctrl+G / Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+G: Group / ungroup
Arrow keys: Nudge 1 px; hold Shift for 10 px
Selection and visibility
Cmd/Ctrl+A: Select all selectable layers in the current scope
Cmd/Ctrl+click: Deep-select inside a group
Shift+Enter: Select the Visual containing the active layer
Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+L: Lock or unlock selected layers
Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+H: Show or hide selected layers
Canvas and panels
V or M: Move tool
H: Hand tool
Space: Temporary pan
R: Rectangle
O: Ellipse
T: Text
F: New Visual
Cmd/Ctrl+ or Cmd/Ctrl+B: Hide or show the side panels
Table mode
Table mode adds spreadsheet-style navigation, cell editing, copy/cut/paste, fill down, clear cells, image preview, and filtering shortcuts. Open the shortcut sheet while Table mode is active for the canonical key combinations.
Tip
Shortcut labels adapt to macOS and Windows. When a text or image field is actively editing, its editing shortcuts take priority over canvas actions.
