The Properties panel on the right shows controls for the current Workspace, Visual, guide, or layer selection.
Choose what to inspect
With nothing selected, the panel shows Workspace guides.
Select a Visual to edit its name, dimensions, background, and Visual actions.
Select one layer to edit that layer’s transform and type-specific properties.
Select multiple layers to align, distribute, group, or change compatible shared properties.
Select a guide to edit its position, lock it, or delete it.
Transform and arrange
Use Transform for position, size, rotation, anchors, rotate 90°, and flip. Numeric controls support typing; many labels can also be dragged for quick scrubbing.
Edit a group’s layout
Groups can use Freeform or Auto Layout. Auto Layout controls include row or column direction, alignment, gap, padding, width and height sizing, and clipping. A child inside Auto Layout can use Hug, Fill, or Fixed sizing when the option is valid.
Edit text
Typography controls font family, weight, size, color, fills, spacing, alignment, and decoration.
Text box controls horizontal and vertical alignment, content offset, auto height or fixed size, clipping, and word wrap.
While editing characters on the canvas, compatible typography changes apply to the current text selection.
Edit images and shapes
Image controls fit/fill, crop behavior, content scale, anchor, offset, and image adjustments.
Shape controls the shape kind, corner radius, fill stack, and stroke stack.
Appearance and Effects control opacity, blend, paints, shadows, and adjustment effects.
Understand locks
A full lock disables editing. A position lock disables movement and geometry while leaving appropriate content and styling controls available. Some template fields can also lock text or image controls.
Apply matching styles
When a selected template-linked layer has matching layers, supported sections show Apply to all. This copies that property section while preserving content such as text and image identity. See the matching-layers guide before using this across many Visuals.
